This magnificent piece features a carved coral Buddha and 15 brilliant round diamonds each measuring 1 mm and totaling .29 of a carat. The piece also features 9 round sapphires measuring 3 mm in diameter each. All gemstones are natural. The brooch measures 1 and 3/8 inches long by 1 and 3/16 of an inch wide. It weighs 20.5 grams. It is in mint condition. History of the item: Asia. 1968. Lamai, a small Chinese fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon, the road that forks inland toward Na Thon leads to the Coral Buddha, a natural formation carved by years of erosion.
